Education Programs

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we strive to help nourish the community, provide fresh food to those who need it most, and cultivate independence with our education programs. In an effort to improve our health, community and environment, we provide hands-on learning activities that build knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to grow, prepare and enjoy healthy food and make connections to nature.  Our Learning Garden is a space for intergenerational educational opportunities to enhance awareness of agriculture and nature. Children and families can enjoy time connecting to the environment and become stewards of the land.  Summer Camps are enrichment programs that offer opportunities for students to connect to nature in a variety of hands-on creative ways.  Lil’ Sprouts Nature Playgroup is a cooperative outdoor play-based learning experience for young children (ages 3-6). With Field Trips to the farm, we strive to give students hands-on learning experiences where they leave inspired to cultivate their own relationship with their community, the food they eat, and the natural world.
