What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?<\/span><\/h2>\n
CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture, is a program based on a mutually beneficial relationship between the farm and the people who consume our food. This relationship allows the community to purchase directly from the farm and support local agriculture by buying seasonal food that is grown naturally, without the use of harmful chemicals and pesticides. Families or individuals become members at the beginning of the season, signing up for a subscription and in return receive a weekly box vegetables from our farm…essentially purchasing “shares” of the farm’s harvest in advance.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

What’s in the CSA box?<\/span><\/h2>\n
Our CSA boxes contain a variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits each week and may include such things as lettuce, broccoli, cabbage, onions, cucumbers, spinach, squash, garlic, herbs, radishes, tomatoes, eggplant, carrots, kale, potatoes, beets, etc.\u00a0 The amount and variety of produce shifts over the course of the season. Each week we harvest the crops that are perfectly ready to eat and include a recipe and info about a highlighted produce of the week.`
