As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we strive to help nourish the community, provide fresh food to those who need it most, and cultivate independence with our education programs. The following are our Community Programs.
Feed our Friends – Advocating healthy, natural eating by providing food to our communities in need through donation to our local Food Banks.
Educate and Empower – In an effort to improve our health, community and environment, we inspire food literacy through hands-on activities that build knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to grow, prepare and enjoy healthy food. We strive to increase equity and a sense of belonging for traditionally excluded and marginalized populations. Cloudview Farm programs address gaps in knowledge, experience and access to healthy food and practices.
Our Learning Garden is a space for intergenerational educational opportunities to enhance awareness of agriculture. Children and families can enjoy time connecting to the environment and becomes stewards of the land as they learn about growing their own food.
Field-To-Fork Club and Farm Camps are youth enrichment program that offer opportunities for students to learn the connection between growing, preparing, & eating food. They have the chance to get their hands dirty, learn about the land, participate in growing food, enhance their culinary skills, and enjoy delicious, nutritious foods.
Cooking with Cloudview is a program that focuses on food education and cooking skills, while building self esteem and self efficacy. We hope to inspire families to make healthy food choices and prepare simple, easy meals.
